From there, we revisited the <strong>four main MindBridge departments<\/strong>\u2014Outreach, Social Media, Blog &amp; Newsletter, and Fundraising. Each department has a director in place, and new members are still encouraged to join where they feel most aligned.<\/p><p>A major focus of the session was the <strong>Outreach department<\/strong>, where we broke down its three sub-teams and their unique roles:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Social Media Outreach:<\/strong> Engaging in comments, community pages, and stories on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, and Discord to spread MindBridge\u2019s message.<\/li><li><strong>Blog &amp; Forum Outreach:<\/strong> Writing thoughtful comments on blogs, Medium articles, Quora, YouTube, and similar platforms\u2014always tying back to our blog, website, or Discord.<\/li><li><strong>Partnerships &amp; Freelance Outreach:<\/strong> Using outreach templates to connect with nonprofits, influencers, and organizations. Once the initial contact is made, MB leadership continues the conversation.<\/li><\/ul><p>We also emphasized the importance of <strong>Google account setup<\/strong> for MB-related tasks. Members were encouraged to create dedicated accounts, making it easier to collaborate on Docs\/Drive, keep files organized, and streamline sharing. Instructions were shared in the #welcome channel.<\/p><p>The group then brainstormed <strong>event ideas<\/strong>, such as movie nights, game nights, and themed discussions. The central focus was preparing for <strong>501(c)(3) non-profit registration<\/strong>, which will unlock our ability to open a bank account, collect donations, and establish long-term credibility. To cover the required $900 in filing and legal fees, the team agreed to frame this as a <strong>\u201cFounding Campaign\u201d<\/strong>\u2014a historic opportunity for early members to rally around and contribute.<\/p><p>We also refined <strong>fundraising strategies<\/strong>, including corporate sponsorships, creative events, and raffles (with gift cards as a practical prize option). In outreach, the vision remains bold: reaching thousands of schools worldwide within 18 months. A <strong>pilot program<\/strong> will launch in one school within six months, with ambassadors and sub-teams (Social Media, Blog\/Forum, Partnerships) taking on clear roles to scale this vision.<\/p><p>Internally, we emphasized professionalism and accountability\u2014standardizing emails, protecting shared data, and implementing supportive member check-ins.
